Our program is entitled, "Celebrating the Lectionary". Our program follows the readings of the liturgical year, and incorporates each Sunday's Gospel within the lessons. For more information, visit www.celebratingthelectionary.com
This is how the program works: the children (K-8) arrive at 9:45 am in the church basement. The Children's Liturgy of the Word, led by Fr. Al, begins at 10:00 am. At the conclusion of the Children's Liturgy of the Word (approximately 10:20), the children go to their separate class areas for catechesis. At 10:30 am, Mass begins upstairs in the church as usual, while the children continue with their classes. At approximately 11:00 am (during the Presentation of the Gifts at Mass upstairs in the church) the children are released to join their family in celebrating the rest of the Mass.
